Valentine’s Day celebrates love and showing your appreciation of others. Given how busy life can be, parents often struggle to invest the time needed to deepen the connection with their children. Despite our good intentions, too often we forget to tell the ones we love how much they mean to us and how precious they are. […]
This is the first year that we spent Christmas Eve with extended family. Thankfully, we could still carry on with some of our favourite Christmas traditions to keep our family traditions continued for another year. Like every other year, the kids got a little box with new pyjamas, a cup with some hot chocolate, marshmallows, […]
The kids all had turns wrapping their family secret Santa presents. It was so cute to watch each one attempt this. As it is meant to be a gift from each individual person, I let them wrap their present and take pride in what they have chosen for that person. Samantha loves wrapping presents so […]
This year we made extra gingerbread houses and with the help of Isaac, we drove around and delivered gingerbread houses to four friends. School is out so we made sure that we got up early enough to get to the mall and get a photo before the line got too long. It was a fun experience as the kids got to colour in pictures while we waited for just the two families in front of us. This year Isaac kindly […]
